I have been watching movies my whole life and I somehow never paid attention to how the eyes are usually two thirds up the screen. This was also something that was not on my mind during filming, but somehow our movies has this rule too. I guess I've watched so many movies with this rule that it was just habit to automatically have this on our movie without thinking about it.
I really wish I paid more attention to the rule of thirds while we were filming our movie. It is a simple trick that surprisingly works effectively. It just makes the video seem more natural and it looks like you are there rather than just looking at a screen. Like Ryan said, I have watched so many movies yet I have been completely oblivious to the rule of thirds.
